Creating an action to move an item in the workflow as a specified time

A scheduled move action moves an item to the next workflow stage at a specified date and time.

About this task

To create a scheduled move action, open the applications menu and go to Content > Web Content Management and then click New > Workflow Actions > Scheduled Move Action.
  1. Defining identification details for the scheduled move action
    Specify identification information for the scheduled move action, including the name, title and description of the scheduled move action.
  2. Specify a location for the scheduled move action
    When creating a scheduled move action you can specify the location of the scheduled move action.
  3. Defining scheduled move action properties
    Define the action properties of the scheduled move action.
  4. Define additional scheduled move action properties
    Specify properties for the scheduled move action, including the list of authors and owners associated with the scheduled move action.
  5. Defining scheduled move action access settings
    Specify the access control settings for the scheduled move action to determine which users have access to the scheduled move action and their level of access.
